Regency Vets is an RCVS-accredited, proudly independent veterinary surgery offering the highest standard of compassionate small animal care. Our friendly, experienced team is dedicated to treating every pet – and every owner – with kindness, respect, and clinical excellence.

We have fantastic, fully-equipped and custom-built facilities so we can offer excellent standards of veterinary care and a wide array of advanced services to pet owners and their wonderful pets.

We believe relationships are everything, we invest in genuine connection and believe that everyone should be listened to and receive the compassionate care we would want our pets and family to receive. We are a small, close-knit, RCVS-accredited veterinary team and are proud to provide a relationship-first approach with our clients and truly be a part of our local community.

  • Unhurried consultations

    • We offer standard 15-minute consultations and extended 30-minute appointments for more complex cases. You will never feel rushed. Seeing the same vet at each visit means you benefit from consistent, trusted care built on a real relationship.

    • Our small but experienced team allows us to offer continuity of care, so you are able to see the same vet. We believe in building trust with our clients so you feel comfortable and cared for.

  • Vaccinations

    • We offer vaccinations to protect your pets against infectious diseases, we believe prevention is better than cure.

    • We are able to offer antibody titre blood tests for certain vaccinations, if you would be interested in this please discuss it with one of our vets.

  • Routine procedures

    • Our routine services and treatments include health check-ups, vaccinations, microchipping, neutering, and dental scale and polishing – all designed to support early disease detection and long-term pet health.

  • Home visits

    • Can't make it to the practice? We offer home visits, bringing everything your pet needs directly to you.

  • Parasite prevention

    • We provide tailored flea and worming advice based on your pet's lifestyle. Our preventative pet health club care plan lets you spread the cost of routine parasite protection and health care, and also saves you money.

  • Microchipping

    • Having your pet microchipped is a legal requirement for both dogs and cats, we can check your pet’s microchip or insert one if you have a new pet.

  • Surgical procedures

    • Our knowledgeable, qualified vets are confident in performing an array a wide range of surgical procedures with fantastic, cutting-edge equipment. We have advanced anaesthetic monitoring equipment to ensure we are providing the best possible care to our patients.

    • For complex surgeries, including soft tissue surgery or advanced orthopaedic surgery, including canine cruciate disease, fractures, etc., we have local, highly experienced referral surgeons who perform the procedures here at our practice alongside our vet and nursing team. This means your pet can have cutting-edge surgery right here on-site, meaning less stress for you and your pet and less time spent travelling to referral hospitals.

  • Full in-house laboratory

    • We can run a wide range of blood tests and urine tests here at the practice in less than an hour, so we can get the results back to you the same day.

  • Luxury separate wards

    • We want our patients to be relaxed and comfortable during their stay with us, which is why created purpose-designed inpatient wards keeping dogs and cats separated to minimise stress.

    • We use quiet, cosy acrylic kennels with glass fronts instead of traditional metal cages, and maintain dedicated isolation facilities for infectious disease cases.

  • High quality x-ray and ultrasound machine

    • We use high-end digital X-ray equipment for rapid, high-quality imaging. Our vets are experienced in ultrasonography, offering echocardiography (heart scans) for cardiology cases and abdominal ultrasound for internal medicine and oncology and pregnancy diagnosis.

  • Dental procedures

    • We provide comprehensive dental procedures supported by dental X-ray technology, allowing our vets to fully assess tooth and gum health beneath the surface – ensuring the highest standard of dental treatment.

  • Animal health certificates

    • Our vets are certified to complete export documentation for when you want to travel abroad with your pet for a holiday or are thinking of moving permanently.

  • Medication prescriptions

    • We source medications cost-effectively to keep prices fair. Written prescriptions are available on request if you prefer to purchase medication elsewhere or online.

    • The length of prescription and number of repeats will vary on a case by case basis.

  • Emergency care

    • We offer same-day emergency appointments and critical care for sick animals during opening hours. Outside of our regular hours, we provide guidance to trusted overnight emergency care providers in the area.
